In the fourth episode of "A Re-Imagining," we meet Cheryl Schmidt, an aspiring actress from Hollywood, California. Her journey is one of giving and receiving love, resilience, and rediscovery.

As her body began to change, she faced bullying for her size. "It was the first time in my life that I felt like I wasn't good enough," she shared.
As a teenager, she experienced her father's death from stomach cancer during her senior year and, as she was studying at Arizona State University, her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
For the next 20 years, Cheryl, with the help of her siblings, took care of their mother, who was her biggest cheerleader."
We knew her life would be changed forever," she added
Determined to honor her parents, she moved back to LA to be the Cheryl she had put on hold for so long. She shared her excitement about receiving audition calls, booking parts, and writing her first screenplay.
